Best stock recommendations app (My Favorite)

If you have been searching for the best stock recommendation app in India, then there are chances that you migh have already come across names like Univest, Liquide, Research 360, Teji Mandi, and StockGro. I was in the same position a few years ago when I was also looking for the best stock advisory app.

I did not rely on reviews from social media influencers, I decided to test all these platforms myself. Over the last two years, I have used the premium versions of all five apps and invested real money based on their recommendations.

After trying them extensively, one app clearly stood out for me: Research 360 by Motilal Oswal.

Before I explain why, here’s my honest ranking:

1. Research 360
2. StockGro
3. Univest
4. Liquide
5. Teji Mandi

Disclaimer! This ranking is based on my personal experience, ease of use, quality of recommendations, research calls, and overall value for money, it might be different for you as per your needs and trading behaviour.

My Experience With Teji Mandi

Let me start with the biggest disappointment.

I invested approximately Rs. 41,000 in Teji Mandi’s flagship portfolio because I liked the concept of professionally managed stock baskets. Unfortunately, the results didn’t match my expectations. I paid Rs. 1200 approx as a subscription for 12 months.

Within around six months, the portfolio was showing a loss of nearly 7%. Since I invested my own money, it gave me a practical understanding of how the platform performs in real market conditions. Slowly, I started withdrawing my money and then I stopped using Teji Mandi though their past performances were amazing.

To be fair, market fluctuations can affect any portfolio. Also, the time when I invested my amount the market was facing financial crisis due to world war like situations.

This isn’t meant to suggest that every user will have the same experience. However, as an investor looking for strong performance and actionable opportunities, I expected better outcomes.
