Investing Pro App Review 2026: Why I Stopped Using It?

Investing Pro App Review 2026

I’ll share my honest Investing Pro App Review 2026 today. I came across Investing Pro when I was looking for better ways to learn about stocks. It initially looked like a useful platform for stock valuations, financial reports, market trends, and investment opportunities without spending hours doing manual research.

I initially thought that paying for its subscription would help me make better investments. I then started thinking about whether it is the right app for my needs after exploring its features and pricing.

Cost was the biggest problem here for me. It keeps pushing me toward another upgrade even after purchasing one plan. I’ve therefore decided to share my honest review and let you know why I stopped using it in this Investing Pro App Review.

What Is InvestingPro?

Investing Pro App Details

Investing.com offers this premium research service. Although market news, stock prices, charts, and financial calendars are available here for free, a paid subscription is needed for its advanced features.  Some of its top features are:

  • Fair Value estimates: Investors can compare a stock’s market price with an estimated value calculated using financial models.
  • Financial health score: An overview of a company’s financial condition can be accessed through this feature.
  • ProPicks AI: It offers model-based stock strategies to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • ProTips: Short observations about a company’s financial performance and business conditions can be accessed through it.
  • Advanced stock screeners: It helps users filter stocks based on specific criteria.
  • Model portfolios: It offers stock ideas based on different investment strategies.

You can even use WarrenAI (a research assistant) to ask investment-related questions. It uses financial data to answer them.

These features are useful for investors to study companies before investing. Many features, however, don’t make a paid subscription worthwhile for everyone.

Why I Stopped Using InvestingPro

High subscription cost was my main reason for leaving this app. I was only looking for a tool to help me understand the market without increasing the subscription to my monthly or yearly expenses. All reasons are:

1. The Subscription Felt Too Expensive

The cost of accessing the premium tools is the main problem I faced here. Although several helpful features are there, I didn’t feel comfortable paying for them because the same features are available through other sources.

Although its Pro plan is available, Rs. 15,708 per year is needed to access the Pro+ plan and unlock all its features. You must check the official website for the latest offers before subscribing.

These tools might indeed be helpful for someone who regularly researches individual companies. The subscription is still unnecessary for a beginner or a casual investor

I wanted something to learn about investing without putting extra pressure on my budget. This is why I started looking for other options.

2. Buying One Plan Made Me Question the Need for Another

Buying one plan wasn’t sufficient to end the spending here.

Multiple subscription tiers are available here. Extra strategies, financial metrics, historical data, and research capabilities can be accessed through the Pro+ plan. But I want to avoid considering an upgrade after paying for a subscription.

I prefer services where the plan covers the features I need. I don’t want to feel that I must spend more money to get more features.

This is where I started thinking about whether I should look for other options instead of thinking about upgrades.

3. I Did Not Need So Many Advanced Features

Detailed financial information, valuation models, stock screeners, and AI-powered research tools are available on InvestingPro. They are indeed helpful for those who regularly analyse several companies.

My requirement, however, was so simple. I only wanted to understand stocks, learn about the market, and access educational material. I therefore realized that I don’t need every advanced feature available on a stock research platform. This is why paying for those features sounds unfair to me.

That doesn’t mean that InvestingPro is a bad platform. It simply means that the features don’t match its pricing.

What I Liked About InvestingPro

Investing Pro App Review

I still understand why other investors love to use it despite not using it.

It allows users to study company fundamentals, compare valuations, check financial health, and explore stock ideas in a single place.

Its Fair Value estimates are perfect for examining whether a stock seems expensive or undervalued based on the platform’s models. Company research also becomes easier through its Financial Health Scores and ProTips.

Investment ideas can also be accessed through the ProPicks AI. Its historical performance, however, should not be treated as a promise of future returns. This happens because independent research is still needed for AI-generated stock selections.

Its depth of information available here is its main advantage. But I didn’t like paying for that depth simultaneously.

InvestingPro Alternatives Worth Considering

1. Univest

Stock research, market insights, and recommendations from SEBI-registered research analysts are available on Univest. It deserves your attention for its access to stock recommendations and research tools at a lower starting price. It’s, however, best to compare the features available in its plan before subscribing.

2. Liquide

Liquide also offers stock research, portfolio analysis, screeners, research reports, and other investment-related tools. Premium features like trade setups, research reports, managed baskets, and premium screeners are available at Liquide One membership. I’ll compare Liquide with InvestingPro based on the specific tools instead of assuming it’s cheaper.

3. StockGro

Stock research, AI-powered analysis, analyst insights, and tools for exploring investment ideas are also available on StockGro. It also offers access to expert portfolios and stock-related information.

Why I Chose Angel One Instead

Investing Pro App Alternative

I decided to stick with Angel One after exploring several platforms.

Its educational content was the biggest reason behind its selection. Knowledge Center, research articles, investment guides, and SmartMoney learning resources are among its most popular features. They cover different investing and trading concepts.

They helped me understand my needs without purchasing another subscription for research. It therefore helped me to focus on learning about companies, understanding market movements, and studying the risks associated with investing.

I would suggest exploring the available learning material first. You may not need a paid subscription for research if you like AngelOne.

FAQs to Investing Pro App

1. Is InvestingPro worth it in 2026?

It is helpful for advanced stock research, Fair Value estimates, financial health scores, and AI-powered stock strategies. Beginners, however, may prefer a free alternative.

2. What are the best alternatives to InvestingPro?

Univest, Liquide, and StockGrow may be ideal for stock research & investment-related tools. Angel One is also perfect for accessing educational content and its brokerage service.

3. Why did I stop using InvestingPro?

The too-expensive subscription fee is my main reason for stopping using InvestingPro. I also felt that upgrading to access extra features was unnecessary.

Final Verdict: Is InvestingPro Worth It in 2026

My experience behind the Investing Pro App Review is that a good research platform is not the right platform for every investor.

InvestingPro indeed offers detailed financial analysis, valuation estimates, AI-driven stock strategies, and other useful research tools. They may be perfect for someone looking to analyze individual stocks.

The subscription costs and extra available features didn’t suit my requirements. That’s why I selected Angel One over InvestingPro.

You should, however, identify your required features and compare the total subscription cost with free alternatives before purchasing Investing Pro.
